WHY I SKATEBOARD
It’s a true release and is one of the only things I can actually focus on when I’m doing it. Nothing else really matters when I skate because of how much freedom it gives me, all the while being a genuinely fun challenge every single time I step on the board and ride.
The community is so wholesome, we all love what we do and we love others doing it, regardless of skill. Skateboarding is all about taking part, in your own way and in appreciation of others also taking part.
MY FAVOURITE TRICKS
Fakie bigger flips, Half-Cab Nose Manuals and huge ollies.

Don’t stop! Falling down and getting back up is a big part of the learning process, it eventually becomes second nature.
We all fall, all the time. Watch skate videos to get hyped with creativity before a session!

MY FAVOURITE TEACHING STORY
I got two students to race at the start of a lesson, then taught them some basic stance and tic-tac techniques, got them to race again and then taught them how to caveman and stop properly.
Then by the final race, the pair had progressed so much so that it was a dead-tie with both having won and lost previous races.
Watching them put all the basics I taught them together and applying them in near perfection was a very rewarding experience for sure.
