Victoria Park Skatepark

This is a smooth park built by those at Wheelscape. The bowl is well designed to give the user good flow, ease of lines and variation, leading from a 5’ shallow end to a 10’ deep end with a solid foot of vert; not to mention two hips dotted around on the left side and a cradle (which Ben Raemers famously gapped over; one of two in the UK). As another bonus, Mile End skatepark is literally just down the road with an indoor mini ramp if it rains.
The street section is also designed with flow in mind, giving you a two block with handrail, pool corner, banks, bumps, ledges etc. Unfortunately, the main issue I have with this park is that on weekends it can relatively busy, filled with bikers and scooters alike, with the odd skater. I would advise that you go during a weekday, however the number of people don’t render it unskateable. The floor can also be very slidey in some areas; but it’s certainly not worth calling off a skate trip because of this!
Overall it’s whippy in some areas and can be slidey in the winter months, but if you fancy going for an enjoyable skate trip for the day it’s a must-go.
