Friary Park Skatepark

One of the smallest and most minimalist parks in London.
There’s not really much to write about; this park is simply a strip of concrete with a flatbank, funbox and a quarterpipe. The flatbank, funbox and the quarterpipe are all only 1 foot high; and the quarterpipe has a very shallow transition. So shallow in fact that upon first inspection I believed it to be a flatbank!
Apart from riding up the ramps a couple of times, the only thing this park provides is flat ground for a few games of skate or learning to push and turn. Overall, it’s not worth the trip. It’s okay for learning the absolute basics and the concrete is smooth but that’s just about the only positive I can give.
